Our Church is the heart of the City of Lansing. We come from the neighborhoods and suburbs, from communities nearby and countries far away. No perfect people here! But with God’s help we are transforming our corner of the world by following the teaching of Jesus and helping each other live a life that reflects His values.

We value prayer as a way to gain inner peace, lasting hope, and outward direction.

Senior Pastor

Eric Mulanda is originally from the Congo, studied in Zimbabwe, and just completed his graduate studies in Chicago. Speaks 5 languages, so he's bound to know yours!

Robert

Building Specialist

Robert Young organizes and cares for our 100 year old building and grounds. He is also a trained aviation mechanic and enjoys Japanese culture. Konnichiwa.

Media Director

My name is Rocky Rodriguez, Media Director here at Hope Community Church. With over 20 years of experience in Entertainment, Technology, Finance, Production & Innovation, I look forward to working with the rest of the team as we build a brighter future together!

Greg Clevenger has taught social studies at the high school and college level for fifty years. He recently completed a Masters Degree in Counseling and offers pro bono (free) counseling services to Hope Community Church where he has been a lifelong member.

Bus Driver

Felix Miller holds a steady hand to the driving wheel of our church bus while driving families in from all parts of town. Also the person to call if you want to play pickup basketball in our gym!

Joseph

Choir Director

From Detroit, Michigan, Joseph Cross is a student at Michigan State University studying music education and vocal performance. Joseph enjoys singing, especially in choir, and is very excited to work with the Hope Community Church Chancel Choir.

Band leader

Jacob Garcia leads our house band at the 11:00 service. He loves music and has enough versatility to go from rap to Johnny Cash.

Senior Coordinator

Audrey Putman runs our many programs for seniors. From Adventure Group to Senior Exercise, you'll find Audrey keeping everyone active and connected.
